Ashante Lanique Ruth has been missing since March 4, 2026. She was reported missing by her cousin. According to her cousin, she picked up Ashante from Palestine, Texas, the previous day to remove her from a negative environment. After picking up Ashante from Palestine, they went to McDonald's and Ashante appeared to be in good spirits, laughing and talking. Once they arrived at her cousin's residence, Ashante became upset and walked away from the apartment. Her cousin called the police and Forney Police Department responded. Forney PD officers spoke with Ashante, and they released Ashante without incident. After returning to her cousin's apartment complex parking lot around 0430 hours, Ashante eventually left on foot and her cousin does not know Ashante's whereabouts.
